Well, they can't go to Guantanamo...'Bama Boy is closing it. Should we bring back slave ships and make them row their way home? Or is that considered torture?

That is one of the best ideas I've heard in a long time. Look at the money that will be saved on gas alone! One note, I'm not a historian, but I don't think slave ships used oars to get here. But you're thinking "outside the box."

Caveat: Any and all information I have is at best second-hand, but - and with no 'liberal credentials' to be exposed - the way this has been presented does raise some troubling questions: This has the vague scent of 'thought crime'. How many of us have spoken about 'the kit': One rope, one tree, one named politician, some assembly required? Could that be someday construed as a 'threat' against that individual and used to persecute us?
I don't know what evidence was presented, or what the facts may be - I just hope the conviction was, indeed, based on fact. |

Or next time a stranger buys you a beer and listens to your ideas how to fix
the government you could be in trouble .They could be guilty as sin or they could have been dragged into it .Difficult to tell grab them too soon and its difficult prove .Too late and you risk plot succeding .

Maybe we could have a little bit of irony, and put them in the federal prison on Ft Dix? I mean, they worked so hard to get on the base, might as well put them there.
I life about 30 - 40 minutes from Ft. Dix/McGuire AFB. Very nice bases, both, though I had noticed, at least prior to 11 September, that it seemed the AFB was a lot tighter on security than Ft. Dix. I'm assuming (I know, dangerous words there) that things have changed, at least recently. -- StarLifter |
