Default Help with a silver and gold eagle pin

I got this pin after my grandfather had passed away. I was wondering if anyone could tell me about it. It is 1 and 1/8th inch tall by 1 and 1/4 inch wide I found pins like it but not by the same maker
this pin is by Hilborn-Hamburger with the HH in an eagle on the back and is marked sterling and 1/20 10k Gold filled(on the anchor part) most are made by
GEMSCO
thanks for your help

It's a Navy officer's garrison cap device. Given the design and size, and the fact that Marines wear a left lapel-size Eagle, Globe and Anchor in the same place on ours, it was a logical conclusion.

He went through the Grunt's Drive Thru...his "thank you" was said as he was picking up his fries and large Coke.

Glad I could help. Now that you're back, you might think about filling out your 'dog tag' and drop by the new members area to introduce yourself - most of us find it more collegial to 'speak' with someone who tries to observe the basic courtesies.
