After some eight years as a member of this board under a number of names, I find myself once again a FNG on the block. Over those years I've posted and lurked under so many names that I can't remember them myself. Hope this counts as one message since I can't wait to make PFC! The last time I attained that rank was because I had the brightest brasso shine on my armor in the entire Roman Legion. Julius Caesar himself soldered that lonely chevron to my armor. What pleased my most is that I had beaten out another Legionnaire named Chesty Puller for that stripe.

Knowing this board, and those who rush in to correct any opinion not held in concert by the "Wise Men," I'll keep my armor on! To say that the past history of Grit's Board is hardly a beacon that shines brightly on freedom of speech and verbal expression is a masterpiece of understatement. But WTH, once again into the fray!
