Default NDSM,ASR and GWT?

I have seen people graduate form Army Basic Training with all three of these medals(ASR is a Ribbon only award) so why do a lot of Drill Sergeants only issue out the ASR?
I included pictures.

How about you go and look up the criteria for each award and come and tell us why.

I have and they are supposed to be awarded at the completion of Baisic Training. It's strange, is it because the GWOT and the NDSM awarded at the Drill Sergeants Discretion?

List your sources and we will look over them.

Considering a Drill Sergeant does not have the authority to award medals, I think you are barking up the wrong tree.

Here's a hint. There's a reason I was authorized wear of these awards when I was. Contrary to popular belief, none of these awards are automatic.

One of those medals (and I'm not saying it for a purpose) is only awarded after 30 consecutive days of active service (after IET), so I don't really think it would be your DS's authority to award it to you.

Check your sources before you ask; you're almost guaranteed to find the answer, especially with something like this, where it's spelled out in the regulation.
