I'm forgoing the "tradition" of purchasing materialistic items this year, and instead using my money to do something that means something to me. Since most of my family that I know is in Florida, I'm arranging to get them ALL together (looking at I think 12 people ranging from early teens to late 70's) and have some pictures done as a full family. We have never done a family picture, and to have as much of my extended family there as possible would mean a lot to me.

I'm also paying to get some pictures of myself individually done, since everyone whines that they don't get enough pictures of me, but that's another story.

I'm with Army_25b, especially given the economic times we all have to face. I have to be cheap this year, but I'm going to be looking for cheap things that mean a lot. Whether that theory can be a reality is another thing, but I'm going to do my best. Then again, I don't want to get trampled in a WalMart either...

Default Reason why I am buying the Open Heart.

Sweet,The Reason I am buying my Girlfriend the Open Heart Pendant to show how our Hearts are open to love each other but to love the world and not be tied down by worldy things. We both love something very much(Me the Marine Corps). I am also going to give her a set of Dogtags I got my First year at JCLC. She wants them so bad so I am going to give them to her.

Well to be honest, I got my early Christmas gift. I treated myself to clothes that went on sale during black friday. Much needed. Then I made the choice to leave an abusive situation and to back home to NH. I flew in on Thursday and spent Thursday, Friday and today with Max, who is my boyfriend currently. Honestly, it never felt better than stepping off that plane in Boston, seeing Max there, spending a night in a hotel..or two..and just being together. We don't see each other enough, and it really was the best Christmas gift I ever got.

I never got Christmas as a child, my family was always too poor, so think of the troops deployed and send them a card or something this holiday-they don't get the holidays..

I'm going to take my best friend of mine on a trip with me to Finland to see my grandparents and cousins. I told her and she flipped and is so happy.
