Default Broken Medal

My Scottish Rite Southern Jurisdiction Medal broke three weeks ago.

I talked to my SAI and AI about it and they said they can't order one until March and I need it for the Cadet Ball. Could anybody help me with Website, old medal and ribbbon or anything like that?
Sincerely
C/1stLt Drill for life

You're in a tight spot. You can really only get the medal from your instructor, who can only get it from the organization. Basically, you have to contact the organization, who won't send you one without talking to your instructor. So, don't count on replacing it, for a while. Get on Google for a little while; if it's out there, you will surly find it.

Take it to a local jeweler. They can definitely do a high quality repair job within a day or so and it should not cost that much.

What were you doing with it to cause it to break? What part is broken?

They cannot repair it, You know the little metal piece on the back of the medal the piece that holds the pin? It was really bent and the medal came of when I was walking down the hall between 5th and 6th period. The Medal they gave me was our S-5's because he was leaving and Scottish Rite didn't send one so they only sent me a Medal. My AI made a Ribbon out of it and the only thing I have left is the Inscription part(The bronze medal part).

As long as you have the Pendant, the jeweler can craft the rest.

Your best bet for finding out how much it is going to cost would be to take it down to a jeweler and explain exactly what you need done. He should be able to give you a quote before you decide whether or not to have him do it.

I have the pendant so I think I am just going to buy the Drape form Paradestore with two silver stars and the purple ribbon and jsut attach the pendant to the drape. It will be a whole lot cheaper and I will be able to put my medal on my jacket again.

Why not have someone do it right? It will not cost more than 20-30 dollars, max.
