Default Reintroduction

I'm just an old civilian who's looking forward to retirement but the current state of the economy worries me enough to indefinately postpone the decision. My father manned an anti-aircraft gun in WWII and I have a nephew currently in the Navy whom I'm extremely proud of.

I haven't been on in awhile but it's good to see some familiar names and sad to see some still missing.

TeeJay - how's the baby doing?

MOM, COLCAF, 25MM, Jumperbones, Kingo - where are you?

Default Welcome back...

It's about time you showed up, txb&b! You have been missed and my porch light has been burning far too long. Welcome back, Friend.

Thanks for keeping the light on and the beer cold, reddog. It's so good to see you again. It's nice to meet you too, Paul, and I'm looking forward to getting to know you better.

I've been trying to catch up on the threads since the new forum took effect. Even with all the changes and new faces, I can honestly say that it really hasn't changed that much.

I really wish all the old posts had been archived in. I feel like there's this big gap between then and now that leaves a lot of unanswered questions about how members and their families are doing and how certain events turned out. Maybe reading all the new threads will provide the answers.
