The Marines Have Landed...

Apparently all hoops have been successfully jumped through, all obstacles negotiated, and the beachhead established. We have the opportunity - again - to make this a literate, relevant online 'watering hole' for those of us with the respect the military deserves, regardless of age, experience or political persuasion.

My intent is to maintain the standards set early on, and 'looking around' at those already here and soon to be expected, I don't see a problem (except for the fact that my D.I. 'smiley' hasn't yet migrated).

Nice job, chief, now I'll go play with all the new bells and whistles...
