I will be praying today for all veterans, past and present, that serve in our nation's Armed Forces. I thank each and every veteran here for their service.

Thank you all veterans of the United States Armed Forces. Without you serving our country, we would not be here today.

Thank You to all those who have, who do, and who will serve.

Thank you Veterans. Today I got a look at the deeper meaning behind things we hear all too common. During the National Anthem, while doing a colorguard at a local retirement home, I could see directly in front of me a man singing while crying. After we were done a woman who worked there was telling us about all of their Vets. The man crying earlier was a retired Navy SEAL. If you have never been close to tears, seing a SEAL breakdown and cry while reflecting on his memories is really moving.

In the Veteran's Day message my Battalion Commander sent out, he included the link to this video. It was posted to the old forum, and is in my opinion one of the truer definitions of what respect for our brothers-in-arms and respect for our great nation is all about.

I can't thank all Veterans enough. Thank you for your service!

I figured I would wait until today to post this. This is the Big and Rich video for 8th of November. I've met Niles Harris. A strong man to say the least. He actually lives very near me, being he is just a few small towns over. The song really touches me as I have met the man and I live in that state. Every time I hear it I'm proud. I've also met Big and Rich, and both are nice guys. Even if you have seen it I encourage you to watch it again.
