Default Drill Team Hoodies

This year one of our cadets took the initiative to get some custom-made hoodies for our drill team. Their original idea was to have "We'll kick your ascots!" on the back, but it was shot down by our SASI.

Does anyone have any ideas for something we could put on the back? If we can't think of anything, we're just going to be putting our last names/nicknames and such on the back...

Yeah, I would go with the unit designation or your names or something. Going with little slogans and stuff is usually tacky and some times embarrassing if someone can put a spin on it... Go with a clean look, you can never go wrong that way.

Our Armed Exhibition team is thinking about making t-shirts with our nicknames, school name and our drill team name: "Zero Kontrol"

We couldn't even have crossed rifles or anything like that on our shirts. My school is super strict on guns being represented with the school name or class or even my unit. Its pretty whack 'cause tons of people wear hunting and gun shirts in my school (SC man, too much of that stuff...) and we can't put a couple of rifles on a shirt.

We opted for a white shirt with blue lettering saying our unit designation and under that either "Color Guard" or "Drill Team."

You have a JROTC hating school. WE have teachers who fail kids in JROTC. I hate that crap.

I'm sure that JROTC is the only reason that a teacher fails a student. And teachers don't fail students, they fail themselves... Teachers give out assignments and then students do them, or don't, and then the teacher gives the appropriate grade. Any other method would put their teaching career in jeopardy. I don't believe in teachers failing students, only students failing themselves.

I'm not saying that teachers have never ever failed students wrongly, I'm just saying that its probably not very common, no matter how much you hate those teachers or think they hate you.

You don't go to my school. My freshman Literature teacher failed me by three points becaue I was in JROTC. I did all my work and passed the test's. My SAI and AI told my principal and they did a internal investigation and she failed me beaceuse I was in JROTC. That is the truth.

Well what happened to her then? And why in the world would someone fail you because of JROTC anyways. There are teachers and administrators at my school that don't like JROTC, but they would never fail a student because of it.

I didn't mean to say that its never happened and that sucks that it did happen to you. You just made it out as a common practice amongst many teachers, just be careful about blanket statements.

Oh and you passed the class right, like in the end you got credit?

She eventually got fired for something else, and yes I did get credit for that class.
