Default Touching tribute...

It takes a bit to mist the eyes of this 'Mud Grunt', but this touching tribute to a True Hero got it done. Thanks Top..

Lost a lot of good men last year. General Olds was one of them. Quite a man, and a GREAT Aviator.

RIP General Olds!

Makes me proud to have worn the same uniform. General Olds was the human embodiment of the Air Force motto, "To Fly, to fight and to WIN". RIP General.

You may notice that my Avatar is that of the 8th TFW. Robin was my boss 1966-67. I learned a lot from that man. My wife says that is where I learned to be a cranky old bastard.

From what I understand....Gen. Olds was a heck of a fighter pilot! Air Force has every right to be proud of him.
