Default 233rd Birthday!!

November 10 is the United States Marine Corps 233rd Birthday (it's a Monday). We'll have a new president and will still be the greatest Marine Corps in the World. I am attending the Local Birthday Ball in a set of Dress Blues (Army Dress Blues, my AI is letting me use them). What are you Poolee's, Marines doing on this glorious day?

Correction, we will still have Bush as our president. The new president will not take office until January.

Why would you wear army dress blues to celebrate the Marine Corps birthday?

Aside from making my house and unit sing happy birthday that morning probaly nothing special.

For him to wear a Marine uniform would be impersonation. He is a cadet in an Army JROTC program and a Poolee in the Marine Corps. As a Poolee or a DEP, you are not authorized to wear the uniform.

Well, I will most likely be working on the 10th, but that weekend at the ball I will be drunk and lovin' it. 3rd Marine Corps Birthday Ball for me. With luck, I won't have to be in the ceremonial part at all, standing for that long while everyone else drinks SUCKS!

Hahaha.
If you cheat may you cheat death
If you steal, may you steal a womens heart
If you may kill, kill your enemy
If you drink, may you drink with a Marine.

Hope the Birthday ball is as fun as it sounds. I can't wait.

If you would like to disagree,
F**K you, heres to me!!!!!!!!!!

Gotta love it, right now its the weekend for me (over here Friday and Saturday = Saturday and Sunday in the states). I heard today that over $5,000 has been put into the "Exlixr of Life" fund (Alcohol Fund) for our Birthday Ball.

DISCLAIMER: Looking back on where this thread is, sorry for the alcohol references. Kids, don't drink until your 21, and drink responsibly.
