Default Oh my God...

We just attacked Syria...

EDIT -- (In Syria, not Syria itself)

Check out Fox News.

EDIT: It's not on anymore, but here's the story:

After Insurgents have been flooding across the Iraqi Border, some Military element came into contact with these insurgents, fought them, and traced them back to a farmhouse in Syrian territory. Four Helicopters raided the compound, and later left.

As you can tell, Syria is pretty pissed.

WE DID NOT ATTACK SYRIA!!! Be careful as to your word choice here.

This was another cross boarder raid, like the ones we conducted in Pakistan. We are finally starting to grow up in this situation and maybe beginning to really get these mother f***ers who attacked us initially. If these countries don't like it, they can screw themselves for harboring these people, or at least not making an effort in taking them out. These people (not Syria or Pakistan, the terrorists) need to be utterly wiped of the face of human kind by any means possible.

And Syria does not want to be messing with us and trying to start a war of a long due raid. We all know that Syria and Israel aren't on the best terms already and Syria is not going to be stupid enough to declare war on anybody.

I know my word choice is misleading. I realized that afterward... (basically, I was about to have dinner, my mom turns on the television, this appears, I listen, then I came back, and posted it.) I'll edit my post to be less misleading.

Just be careful that's all. But like I said, Syria isn't gonna be able to do much about it and would be better off sitting in some corner.

Yeah.

Although I know for a fact that the UN, the EU, and some other liberal a$$hats will have something to say about it.

I still fail to see why going to combat is a good thing...

Hopefully, this will be resolved (as it just might) before I go into the Corps. Unless, this pisses off Iran...

Um, are you saying that you would like Syria to declare war on the United States? Are you saying that the United States should declare war on someone? Are you saying that you WANT to go to combat, that you WANT to fight? I understand your patriotism and your zeal to defend your country, but hoping that one country will declare war on another is way out of line. More conflicts = more dead people, sometimes its necessary, usually its not, and this is one of those not so necessary situations.

And I don't think you have to worry about not serving in combat. I've got a feeling that you will be "content" with the current war that we are engaged in and will be engaged in for some time to come.

The posts I read from you, the more I am convinced you are not the type of kid I want assigned to my unit.

I pray that you seriously don't disregard life like that. I'm afraid Bushidoist zeal like that makes the military look real, real bad in the public eye.
