Default Commedation Ribbon/Medal

Have any cadet's been awarded the Commmedation ribbon in ther unit? I have never seen anyone with it. Please tell us why.

I have been awarded it. I was awarded it for outstanding effort during formal inspection. I was on the commendation list given by the inspectors from our brigade to the SAI.

In terms of JROTC Awards, I had 5 Commendation Awards. I don't remember what I got them all for, but the one that stands out is the one I got for participation in a 9/11 Rememberance Ceremony the year after that day.

I got one. It was during Camp (our battalion has an annual camping trip during the school year.) It was for, "exceeding the expectations of someone of my rank/grade in the eyes of the C/SGM and Battalion Commander."
