Default Communists for Obama? Never!

Er, well, yeah, actually. Forget "never".

Quote:
NEW YORK (AFP) — A rare bird in the political world, the US Communist Party is feeling rather smug in these days of capitalist turmoil.

At the party's New York headquarters on 23rd Street in Manhattan, regional party chairman Libero Della Piana, 36, laid out why he thinks Marxist-Leninism's time has finally come.

"We are very excited, we feel that we are at a turning point,"Della Piana, an imposing half-Italian, half-African American with a pony tail, told AFP.

Given, I've never liked Obama - this helps me in my main political strategy. If Communists, fascists, Marxists, or any of the kooks in Hollyweird say they like him, I don't.

From the same article: "There is no communist running for the White House and the Communist Party does not endorse Democrat Barack Obama."

Never said the party needed to endorse him. Individuals who embrace those ideals are enough for me, whether they actually belong to a group or not.

With that in mind, there are many Republicans that support him as well. You will never find a distinct line or party affiliation that supports "their candidate" 100%.

I agree with you that there definitely is a march towards socialism in this country and I don't like it, not one bit.

Oh, I'm fully aware of that, sir, along with the many Democrats who support McCain (DemocratsforMcCain.org, etc.). I just wanted to get out my thought that I don't like the fact that those with such radical ideals think they're getting a shoe in the door with Obama.

Sorry if I made that sound like there was another meaning behind it.

Maybe they learned a lesson from the last election, when they backed the french tickler and quoted the dummycrat plarform almost word-for-word, and their favorite french fry lost. Their aims and goals havent changed, but nobody accused them of being too stupid to learn (it's the American sheeple who are stupid enough to follow them).

The American communist party reckon they reached a turning point .Have they ever been more than a fringe party ? I beleive even in the 1930s when
extreme parties of the left and right had there most popularity the wheels were falling off the communist dream. And if you cant sell your ideas to the working classes in the depths of deppresion and with bosses who could do stuff that would land them in court nowadays .When will you ?
I guess it gives students and proffesors something to do and a way of annoying your parents it cant be beaten ,but, does anyone including themselves really take it seriously anymore ?

We all should. Brits, Aussies, and several other countries have already converted to Communism. Don't think so? Lets look at some comparisons:

Take from the wealthy, give to the poor = socialized medicine (and other taxation programs) Everyone works for the "common good." Side note - unfortunately the US is doing this as well. "Spread the wealth."

Disarm the "subjects." Well known Communist leaders disarmed their people shortly after taking power. They claimed it was for "the people's safety." Sound familiar? Lenin and Mao Tse-Tung are the first to come to mind, but there have been others.

There are other comparisons, but I'm tired, and don't feel like continuing this post.

Call it "Socialism," call it "governmentalism," call it whatever you like, but it all boils down to the same thing....Communism.

I know submariners are prone to being a bit odd ,but, last time I checked my
head of state is not addressed as comrade Liz.
NHS may well be socialized health care but it works .Taking from the rich makes more sense than taking from the poor and giving to the rich which seems to be the flavor of the month.
Would add more but have to report my mother in law as a counter revolutionary (if only )
