Default Books

I'm just wondering who here (adults and cadets) is into reading and what exactly you like to read. Personally, I like anything that makes me think, especially things that make me think about our society and current political structure. 1984 and Animal Farm are two of my favorites by George Orwell. The Curious Enlightenment of Professor Caritat by Steven Lukes is a great analysis of political systems. Making the Corps by Thomas Ricks is a great book about Marine Corps Boot Camp that I found very interesting and informative. The Bible is alright, too...

Would anybody else care to join in?

God bless!

1984 must be followed by 'A Brave New World', 'A Clockwork Orange', and '1985'

For military aspirants, 'Once an Eagle','Killer Angels', and 'Band of Brothers' are must reads.
