Default Forum Time-Out?

Grunt,

I've had the Forum "Time-Out" on me and drop my logon after about 15 minutes of non-use. Is that Normal?

I believe the "Time Out" means that after a while, the connection between your computer and the server just drops. I haven't had it happen to me though.

Although, when the server connection times out, it's because of the person's connection, not the server... well, it's a combination of both. Happens all the time on XBL when extreme lag is an issue.

That is not the case here. Please do not assume that I am an idiot when it comes to Servers, the Network, and what is NORMAL here please. To Assume so make an axx of you and me.

I happen to be a Network Admin for my Group and so I have the tools to admin and View what is going on with MY connection. With a dedicated 1 GIG line to my Mac Desktop, and well over 15 years doing network admin at a Fortune 500 company, I think I KNOW what the hades is going on with MY CONNECTION!
