Default Murphys Laws

These can be either actual ones or ones you made up, all can be funny or no, just find ones that are appropriate/ clean for service here.

1) Night-vision aint

2) Recoil-less rifles, dont

3) What can go wrong, will (and usually does).

4) If its stupid and it works, it aint stupid.

5) There is no such thing as "The perfect plan"

6) Dont be conspicuous, it draws fire. This is why aircraft carriers are usually known as "Bomb Magnets"

7) The radio you just used to call to base about that BBQ, just failed when you needed immediate fire support and air cover.

8) Tracers DO work both ways.

9) A B-52 is the ultimate close range support weapon.

10) Frendly Fire - isn't.

There are whole websites dedicated to these, this is probably the biggest: www.murphys-laws.com. Check it out if you want to see a ton of them.

One of my favorites from this one is this: It is impossible to make anything foolproof because fools are so ingenious.

Got to be my favorite on there.

If you drop a soldier in the middle of a desert with a rock, a hammer, and an anvil, tell him not to touch any of it, and come back two hours later, the anvil will be broken. "Because soldiers gotta f**** with s***".

Working in a Military Intelligence unit, these seem a bit more appropriate to me:

To steal information from a person is called plagiarism. To steal information from the enemy is called gathering intelligence.

Military Intelligence is a contradiction. (and I remind my co-workers of that constantly...GO SIGNAL!)

ahahahah! No comment there.

I have a few favorites myself.

Your brassard and your badge won't stop bullets.

No matter how you write it, the Desk Sergeant will want it changed.

You'll find the suspect you want, when you're off-duty and unarmed.

I was just perusing the political end of the site and saw this one. I actually laughed out load at it:

No matter who gets elected, government always gets in.
