I am reading a book about this Marine Force. It was broken up right after the battle of Guadacanal. I urge every future Marine to read this link and a book called The Marine by James Brady. The cover is green with a Bronze Star.

I'll check it out bud, thanks for the info. Sounds interesting looking forward to reading it. Haven't heard much about the Marine Raiders, actually this may be the first time I've heard about them
