Default VP Debate, and my Constitutional Emergency

As I figured, a virtual draw as stated by the MSM, and altogether a bore, IMO. These popularity contasts and mutual admiration societies make me want to puke. But I have a more pressing emergency. My copy of the US Constitution is wrong. Here I was thinking that Article I dealt with the Legislative Branch, and lo and behold, Joe "been everywhere but the electric chair" Biden tells me last night that it covers the Executive Branch. He then goes on to say that the VP is president of the Senate, only when there is a tie vote.
I need this new, updated, living and breathing Constitution.

Machine, for this one time only, I have a special deal for you. One tumb worn, dog eared copy of The Constitution of the United States. Ooops, my bad, same version you have. Seems the dimone needs to go and retake Civics 101. As to the VP and the Senate, Joe "the Gaffer" Biden may have meant that the VP only gets a vote in case of a tie, but until the LSM actually asks him (yeah right, don't hold your breath), we will never know.

Seems, Machine, we didn't get the memo.

Article I Section 3: "The Vice President of the United States shall be President of the Senate, but shall have no Vote, unless they be equally divided."

The man(?) is is a walking puddle of used 10W30 with the integrity of a snake and the heart of a traitor, so drunk on his own presumed power - and cocksure of the ignorance of the electorate - that he might as well exist in a parallel universe. Unfortunately, he doesn't, and we have not yet devised a way to deliver him there. He - and his entire ticket - might benefit from a 'fact-finding' trip to remote outposts in Afghanistan...or it's highly possible we might.

Being a little hard on the used motor oil, aren't we?

I liked the "white flag comment" by Gov. Palin last night and I'm glad she included Obama's language about our troops "killing civilians" and "air raiding villages" in Afghanistan.

I know I've mentioned this elsewhere, but it appears to me that ole Joe hasn't been paying attention for the last 30-something years. The VP's paycheck is cut from the Legislative Budget, not the Executive like the Presidents is, therefore the VP is NOT part of the Executive, but rather the Legislative, and a President of the Senate, he can run that show if he wants to.

My only question is why hasn't Cheney been spending a lot of time over there, smacking Harry Skreed upside the back of the brain housing group with the gavel every time that venal, vapid, worthless excuse for a human being opens his piehole? Maybe it'd be better if he just took the Skreed hunting.

Doncha know that would be a 'hate crime'? The mentally defective and terminally incompetent are a 'special treatment' - er, 'interest' - group that trumps the 'equal protection under the law' standard. Any act of 'aggression' committed against them - and 'the law' as we have come to know it is what some black-robed felon says it is - is persecuted under the presumption that it is more 'offensive' to commit such against certain ill-defined 'minorities' - blacks, muslims, women (minority? They outnumber us!), sexual deviants, drug addicts...the list goes on. Apparently cranio-rectal inversion is a 'protected' handicap or 'condition'.

Don't ya know, some one with a brain had to run Halliburton, make sure the money was still running into the pockets. If he had been doing his appointed duties, he wouldn't have the nest egg he now has.

How many of us can screw our current employers, make millions and get away with it - and shoot someone to boot

I enjoyed watching that debate. The event was so hyped up that I was expecting more fireworks!!! LOL

Regardless, I think that Gov Palin placed a few outstanding jabs. Of course, these were not played on any of the media channels. My favorite parts are when she was pointing out Sen Biden's voting record which often agreed with McCain up to the point to when he was tapped as Sen Obama's running mate!

From the tenor of your post, it would appear you're against private industry operating for profit, and that you possess some list of the Vice Presidential 'appointed duties' - complete with checklist of 'done' and 'ignored' - the rest of us are not privy to? Please elucidate: Precisely what 'appointed duties' has he failed to perform? What business decisions has he made while in office (rather than letting the legally mandated blind trust handle them)? Why is he less entitled, while a private citizen (which he has been for a major portion of his life), to aspire to wealth than a Bill Gates or a Warren Buffet? Why do you imply there a reason a corporation with the knowledge and resources to best carry out a government contract should not receive it?

Dick Cheney may not be among my favorite people, or my favorite Vice Presidents, but if you are accusing him of illegal activities, it would behoove you to present such evidence, rather than parroting the maunderings of the lamestream, drive-by media.
