Default Clarification

All right Mods, this is aimed at you: stand-by to receive incoming.

We need further clarification as to which sub-forums "cadets," and those civilians who used to be cadets are appropriate to post. There was a senior guy who has BTDT who busted a poseur, and the thread gets locked? We need some separation between us or the possibility of things getting out of hand exists. Looking at the problem before the problem becomes ugly....

Also we need clarification as to what "mod" powers the "Cadet Adult Instructors" wield over us unwashed mass of dirty enlisted guys. Can a cadet mod lock a thread I start?

I could be wrong, but I think I liked it better when there was a "kiddie pool."

As far as Moderator abilities go, we only have permissions over sub-forums we're set as mods for (View Forum Leaders link is at the bottom of the main page to show this). I, for example, do not have the ability to moderate over the Military or General Forums, however can and do moderate the Cadet Forum.

Those who've registered and they are under the age of 18 are restricted to post only in the Cadet section. Anyone over 18 has the permission to post elsewhere, subject to the same rules any other member has to follow.

As far as the thread being locked, PM incoming.
