Default Grunt Corpsman

Just want to check if there are any fellow Grunt Corpsman out there. My years of service were 69-80. Eight of those years were spent as a Grunt Corpsman.

I dont know about grunt Corpsmen, but I am a former Marine Machinegunner and Antitank Missileman who went into the Coast Guard to become an IDMT(same as a Navy IDC Corpsman). I spent two tours in Iraq and in the Middle East in 2003 and 2004. Does that count?

Default Doc..

Doc,
If your years of service began in 1969, you were probably in my war. None were more respected than a grunt's 'DOC'! I hope you made it in one piece and welcome here.
Easy Brother,
Reddog...

The Society of the First Infantry Division has a website & messageboard at
www.bigredone.org

One side of the board is for members only, but there is a public side there too.

Both sides have a Buddy Locator Section.

There are several Vietnam era medics there ,perhaps if you posted your unit
or who you are looking for, they could help.

Its going to be down for maintenance for a couple of days though.

Just a suggestion.
