Default Considering the Air Force, can someone help me out?

Just need some info, don't want to go to the recruiter yet and the Air Force Site is helpful, but doesn't answer everything...

I don't know what to do withthis one, I fell kind of lazy today but here it goes.

1.Don't violate CPP
2. We have so many Retired, veteran, active duty, reserve, and Air Guard Airmen on this forum you should ask them.
3. In my opinion you posted this in the wrong topic to.

A) Fill in your profile
B) PM user 'Grunt' and request a name change to reflect your rank as a cadet, and to remove your last name
C) Tell COL T that B says hi

There is a possibility that me and said individual have spoken in person. With a name like his, it kinda stands out. I still don't think he realizes who I am, he was on the old forum for a bit and couldn't figure it out.

I thought the name looked familiar. As a help to our wayward friend here are a couple of links to help you out:

Considering the AF? Good deal! I just recently decided on the AF myself. I used the AF website extensively in researching my choice of career (SF, AFSAC, or AFSOC for me). Use www.airforce.com. Not only is it the best looking web site of any of the branches, it holds tons of info for all career fields, to include descriptions, pay, and videos to 'see what it's like.' When you get really interested, or are completely lost, you can talk with a recruiter online and they can answer any and all questions you have. Outside of that, I'd be glad to talk to you on a cadet to cadet basis on AF opportunities and what I've found to be interesting.

As posted above, scan through the Air forces' websites. Find out every oppourtunity that's available to you. Go see a recruiter above all else also.

As the prior poster said talk to the recruiters, but you also have to take into account on what exactly you want to do in the Air Force, and if you want to be an officer or enlisted. The lives are different from each other in many different ways, but it is unfair to say one is better than the other. For officer related questions look at afrotc.com and check out the United States Air Force Academy web site. Those are the two biggest commissioning programs.

Finally if you have any questions on AFROTC to commission as a 2nd Lt. feel free to send me a private message.
