Received the following today from a historically reliable source, and while it may be little more than hot air, it's also credible enough in light of the jackass party's history, as in the substitution of a certain New Jersey political hack for a 'guaranteed loser' on the ballot well after the legal deadline:

Those Libs are such a pack of hacks! The thing is that thanks to the media, they COULD get away with it....
I know that I lived too long when idiots like Matt Damon can go on the air with their stupid commentary only for me to hear people talking about it the next day as if he were some sort of enlightened messenger. I am really scared for the future of our Nation! Last edited by PaulR; 09-18-2008 at 07:17 PM. |

Or maybe it's idiots like Damon, BaaBaa Streisand and George Clooless who've lived to long?

Hahahaha... I would find them humorous if the sheep and cool aid drinkers out there did not buy what they say as fact.
The sad thing is that I really enjoyed a lot of the Movies Damon and Clooney starred in... Now, I will never be able to buy tickets to see another of their films again. You know, up until about 100 years ago, actors were pretty much the bottom of the barrel and lower class people(even the person with the pen name of William Shakespeare). I dont understand how all of a sudden, these non hackers have such power and influence. At least Barbara Streisand is an artist, but the rest are little more than over paid court jesters. All they do is ACT like someone they are not. So what if they can shed a tear on demand! Since when does this give them the right to thrust upon us their Socialist ideology. There is a reason McCarthy had so many of these people on his "list" in the 1950s. Actors should do what they do best... entertain... leave the politics to the grownups. |

Don't put anything past the lib's. Yet, now I'm hearing that Rezko (Obama's criminal buddy in Chicago) is 'talking' to prosecuter's.

To amplify on Paul's point: Puppets - actors and singers - are paid to convincingly deliver the lines someone else has written for them. They earn their living by faking knowledge and emotions that lead to a 'willing suspension of disbelief': You know these events do not, will not, cannot occur, but for the ninety minutes you spend in the cineplex, you want to 'relate to' a two-dimensional character. Fortunately, when the movie ends, most folks return to the real world. Unfortunately, when the election ends, most people retain their cranio-rectal inversion.
