Default Afghanistan

Quick but complicated questions:

1. Are 50,000+ US forces supportable (think logistics) in this land-locked country?

2. Is it time, especially at this time and place, for the USA to withdraw?

3. Where is the "Center of Gravity" of the terrorists? Pakistan? Iran? Saudi Arabia? or maybe Russia? In other words, which country's support is critical for the continuation of hostilities?

Trains &trucks from pakistian fly stuff in .Logistics are difficult but not really
that much of a problem .
The taliban can and have been beaten .Problem is turning Afganistian into something approaching a sane working country which is pro western.
