New PCS

Been a little preoccupied with making sure this new hull is watertight (just because Marines can walk on water doesn't mean we have to flaunt it) and - just as an aside - running my campaign for the AZ House of Representatives. In fact, I was at a meeting yesterday with the Speaker of the House (and got his endorsement) and got back in town (barely) in time to debate my opponents (video supposedly accessible through the AZ 'clean elections' site).

That said, I've already reported aboard, stowed my gear, squared away the area, and bought a round for one hell of a good staff. Now, I'm out on the Parade Deck, Smokey Bear dead parallel to the deck, welcoming some old hands and watching the new ones trickle in.

03Shooter has been kind enough to supply you with online copies of the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and other relevant documents - please utilize them before making reference to them - but be advised: If you set me off, you're responsible for providing your own thesaurus...and a suggestion - I have no quarrel with anyone whose opinions differ from mine (erroneous though they may be), I do with anyone who cannot cite the facts on which that opinion was based, and the logic through which it was arrived at. Please do not be the one upon whom I summon invective (at least before the general election and while the Arizona Legislature is in session), as I will make the requisite time for a 'proper' chewing, and many here will hold you personally responsible for the expense of purchasing their own reference volumes.
