Won't say their names but:
SAI-Lt.Col. (was also enlisted in the Navy and Army) AI-1SG Over 50 years combined. Both were Infantry.

SASI - Lt Col USAF (Ret) - F-15 pilot.
ASI - SMSgt USAF (Ret) - logistics for most of his career. ASI - MSgt USAF (Ret) - air-to-mud/recon. Of all three, around 100 years of service, give or take.

I have never heard of Instructors being retired reserve personell. I guess you learn something new everyday.

I have never met a JROTC instrucor who was in the reserves. I am sure there are some(it is probaly a northern thing).
