Default New.

Hello everyone. My name is John but most call me Rabbit, either is fine. My job in the AF was Aircrew Protection, loved every bit of it. Been living the civilian life for almost a year, it has its pros and cons. Anyways, I'm open for questions and good discussion.

John,

Welcome. Many USAF Vets here. Glad to have another. So...How many years did you have in? Ever thought about Guard or Reserve opportunities?

Got in a good 8 years. I have thought in depth about a possible position in the Guard, but as of right now I'm enjoying time with my new born. There's no doubt in my mind though that I will eventually return in some way.

Welcome to the forum Rabbit. If you have any questions about the Guard, I'll be happy to help.

Welcome aboard Rabbit! You'll enjoy it here, we have some amazing folks that linger about these forums ready to ask, answer and share what they know.

Dare I ask...why Rabbit? I'm gonna assume the safe route would be to say running and darting?

Thank you for your time and service!

I wish there was some great story to tell about how I came to carry the name Rabbit, but, there is no such story. Being born with big ears pretty much tells the tale. But, I've been told I make a very good rabbit stew.

Thanks for the warm welcomes, everyone.
