Default For those joining/ already joining

Just a little reminder, never leave your wall locker unlocked and go to the shower, E-5's like to dump all your stuff out, Note I was in the shower when he did that, came back and got put in the front leaning for every item in my locker,

Or go to the shower without shower shoes and let a Drill catch you. Report to them in proper footgear every hour, and did I mention the need to be in the uniform that goes with the footgear?

My friend(during Army Basic) got up in the middle of the night to take a shower and his Drill Sergeant caught him and made him do push-ups, he said he was so scared that he would get Athletes foot, or something else(A STD or somehting) on his genitalia.

Listen to your NCO's. The worst thing a fresh 2LT (as in fresh from commissioning source with no prior military experience (and high school cadet programs don't count)) could do is walk in thinking he knows everything and getting everyone beyond angry with him.

Umm... Who is this "we" you are referring to? Is it a mouse that is joining the Corps with you?

It's just something my AI says when a newly Commisoned 2ndLT come's to talk to us. He say's listen to his experience as a Cadet but not as a Soldier he's got no clue what he's talking about until the bullet's starting flying. Not trying to imply anything just saying what my last post meant, he says a officer that doesn't listen to his NCO's isn't a officer it's a man with Metal on his shoulders he says a officer is someone who will do anything and will die for the mean who serve under him.

Your prior post and the way it was worded infers membership into a group to which you are not yet a member. As a DEP, you've signed a contract that states "I will report to you on this date to begin my commitment", nothing more. As such, for you to say "that's what we call a "Boot Louie"" is out of line as it is a term of disrespect directed towards a commissioned officer of the Armed Services. Until you've got the time under your belt, served under officers of multiple types, and all the other accolades and sacrifices that come with service, you have no right to direct the referenced term at anyone.
