My aunt is in real bad shape. She is at the hospital now for weight-loss. She has lost a whole lot of weight(105 to 85). She really needs your prayer, she is a Air Force veteran(SrA. honor guard), Please pray that she can gain wait. She has bulemia, that is why it is hard for her to gain weight, she is 51 years old.

Unfortunately, the recovery for bulimia isn't typically "speedy." The physical implications of that disorder can wreak havoc on your body, from nutritional deficiencies, gastrointestinal degredation, heart problems, etc. Fortunately, these issues are the easy ones to address.

The longer process is addressing the underlying emotional and mental issues that are the cause of the bulimia. There is an obvious body image issue or some sort of OCD that is resulting in the need to act out this behavior.

DFL, best of luck to your aunt, may she get the help and support she needs and find some sort of stability that will enable her to make the recovery she needs.
