I need some info on the Kitty Hawk club. I need to know the requirements to get into said club, any information on how you start up said club, and the responsibilities the Kitty Hawk club holds.

Hahahaha Google gives you pages to go to but not the Site.

The Kitty Hawk Air Society (KHAS) is the Honor Society for the AFJROTC program. The purpose of the KHAS is to further instill cadet Leadership and Teamwork qualities. In a manner similar to other Honor Societies, "Kitty Hawkers" are required to maintain a 3.2 weighted GPA. Specific KHAS objectives are: to promote higher academic standards; be of service to the school and community; promote excellence, integrity, and initiative; develop leadership ability; encourage academic excellence, and further educational development in post high school years. The two primary activities of the KHAS are providing Awareness Presentation Teams and involvement in the Veterans History Project:

I posted Google because the Forum Instructors always stress to us to do an attempted search and his answers can be found in a basic 5 second search. Actually, I found every answer to his questions on the first site.

Very good -BuLL-. You are exactly right. We do expect more from you all and while we are here to help, as has been stated numerous times, we do expect our members to do their homework. If you can't, why should we?

EDIT: Re-open by request.

The first thing you should do is speak with your SASI. He/she will know exactly what KHAS is and the process on adopting a chapter. Also, instead of going to Google as a first option in research, refer to official documentation, which I did not find as my first search result (or second, or third, and so on). Instead you can find links to official documents and their source here: http://www.gruntsmilitary.com/board/...read.php?t=735. Most notably of course is the one I have quoted below, AFJROTCI 36-2001. Make sure you acquaint yourself with this instruction so you don't have to post up threads like this and receive menial responses such as www.google.com.

4.9. Kitty Hawk Air Society (KHAS). KHAS is the academic honor society of AFJROTC. Its purpose is to promote high academic standards and achievement. KHAS also develops leadership abilities, recognizes academic excellence, and furthers members’ knowledge of the Air Force role in aerospace. Reference Cyber Campus for more details.

So there you have it, refer to Cyber Campus for your real answer. Sorry, I can't quote that one as it is restricted to the use of instructors, so once again speak with them and I'm sure they will grant you access. Good luck with your to-be chapter!

Her Search. Not everyone is male.

I did do some research but if you type in Kitty Hawk Air Society into Google you get at least ten pages and on the first TWO pages alone I found at least thirteen differences. The 3.2 weighted came from one of the first ones, near that one is one where you only need to have a 2.5. Which is why I asked to see if anyone had an actual handbook because my instructors didn't know the answer as they've both just recently become instructors.

Thanks to those who helped.

I'm Kitty Hawk Commander in my unit, I might be able to forward some actual stuff. But here's some tidbits:

KHAS has a Constitution that each unit adds amendments to. These amendments determine eligibility requirements and such. For example in my unit, one must be a sophmore, have an A in AFJROTC and a 3.25 GPA when inducted. They must maintain a 3.25 to continue the program, with probabtion for those who fall below.

KHAS also does service projects, tutoring and such. You'll have to look into what is available in your community.

I don't have any sample documents with me now, as they're in my Deputy Commanders' Desk. But I'll try to upload them sometime. Hope this helps a little.
