So much for democracy.

So much for literacy.

So much for literacy.

...OK? I fail to see the point of your post. Nothing in what I wrote indicates a lack of literacy; there's no incorrect spelling, and the article supports the claim I made. If my post somehow fails to meet your standards it would be quite magnanimous of you to let me know why.

I posted what I felt was an interesting (and frightening) example of what quite clearly, in my opinion, seems to be our democratic system failing. The examples of egregious decisions by the canvassing board, all in Al Franken's favor, shown in this article, as well as the near statistical improbability of the recount, support the idea that the election is being stolen (in other words, the guy who actually won, won't).

My comment had nothing to do with your spelling. It was in fact related to the article. My point was that on the top of all these ballots are instructions that clearly state how to "fill in the circle." Most, if not all of them I've seen even say, "fill in the circle completely." Then, even go as far as showing examples of a correctly filled box and incorrectly filled ones - to include an "x."

So the literacy comment had nothing to do with you - sorry if it came across that way - but was referring to the morons who can't fill out a ballot correctly.

Perhaps I'll take Edward Tufte's advice, "for clarity, add detail."

Cheers.

Well that makes sense. The problem is, when you look at the ballots, improperly filled out ballots for Franken were counted while those improperly filled out for Coleman weren't. In some cases votes clearly of Coleman were given to either no one or Franken.
