"Milkmen....they only LOOK like Midshipmen."
BHWAHAHAHA
17 - Navy 0 - Army, at the half. Still plenty of time for Army to make a comeback.
GO ARMY BEAT NAVY!

Congrats to Navy for their 6th straight Commander in Chief's Trophy.

Navy is good, real good. The Triple-Option is a real killer (non-believers need to only ask Georgia, because Georgia Tech shoved the TO down their throat.) Hopefully Army can start fielding an equally competitive team soon.
On the note of the uniforms, it'd be nice to see the service academies get away from the Notre-Dameish uniforms, but I could take or leave the Army one. With that look though, there's going to be no confusing them with the floundering Irish.

The ESPN game recap for those interested
*Falls to ground crying* (at least that's how I felt a few hours ago). Of interesting note, Army has defeated Navy in nearly every sport other than football (including sailing, lol). On the brightside, the Secretary of Defense gave my section in the Spirit Band PMI (easier type of inspection for rooms, lets us sleep) from now until this time next year :D.

...you just better hope that's actually enforced when the SECDEF leaves.
Well, West Point fired the head coach:

One of my Officers bet me a six-pack of Dr Pepper on the outcome. She used to be Navy, but jumped ship to marry a Tanker and join the Army. As a bonus, she had to stand up in briefing and sing "Anchors Aweigh" in front of the whole shift. A sweeter prize couldn't have been had.

Has anyone seen the movie "Code Breakers"? It's about a cheating scandal in West Point, and a bunch of the football players were booted from the Academy for cheating. Great movie.

And this has what to do with the thread?
Should you desire to start a 'movie' thread, feel free to do so. As to the movie itself, of the service academies, West Point is probably the best known to the masses, so - for Hollyweird - it makes 'sense' to trash it for cash.

1- The original topic is over, as the Army/Navy game has concluded. All I did was try to keep it alive by switching topics regarding West Point. If it's that much of a problem, lock the thread.
2- The story is true. Hollywood simply put it on the big screen.

Have you seen the movie in order to properly judge it for content and accuracy?
