President Electi Barack Obama announced General James L. Jones(Ret) as his National Security Advisor. He also announced he's going to keep Honorable Gates as Secratary of Defense.

I have never heard of him before. It suprises me that he didn't choose General Peter Pace(Ret.).

I don't know much about General Jones, but keeping Gates as our Secretary of Defense is definitely a good move.
