Mr. Conners, far be it for me to question your statements, however, would you be the same individual who is in question on these sites here:

I really hope you could prove me wrong, but I also really do hate the Walts

I recall some of this from before, and would encourange Ranger Conners to explain some of his claims that have been disputed elsewhere...

Ah it's the return of Ranger Connors and the Ukranian Pickpockets... I remember him.

The funniest quote from this http://www.arrse.co.uk/cpgn2/Forums/viewtopic/t=69788/postdays=0/postorder=asc/start=0.html is this one.

If watching numerous Vietnam films had taught me anything, apart from the value of headbands, it was that rolling a massive joint was the perfect preparation for a dangerous mission. So I did.

RANGER Jerry Conners, Captain (Ranger Class 502),

Jerry,

The only class I could find at Ranger School that was listed at "502" was class 502-79, which graduated in 1979. If you did graduate from that class (and your dates on the other events are just wrong), could you please tell us where you are in this photo? If you aren't in the photo, could you please clarify which class you graduated from?

The photo is below:

My information is from: https://www.infantry.army.mil/rtb/photo.htm#79

Seminarian Tim:

If I remember correctly, that is one of the few elements of his story that has been vetted. The folks over at ArmyRanger.com are no joke, and apparently he attended Ranger School as he claims, but as an ROTC student (they used to do this in lieu of what we now know as National Advanced Leadership Camp).

see the post HERE (http://www.armyranger.com/bb/viewtopic.php?t=34821&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=jerry+conners&start=45) by LRP1.

These guys have folks down at the school house that can verify anybody. They're pretty quick on the poser trail.

Ok I see it now...thanks for pointing that out to me. The way the classes are listed on the website I gave, there was no Class "502" until '79 and he seemed to predate that class. Anyway, thanks for the heads up.
