He probably can't due to security standards...and he probably won't know any more until he hits his AIT.

Hey man congratulations, that's really cool! I haven't decided what I'm doing yet, but I'm glad I'm in JROTC for four years. But I think I'll see you in the Army in a while, only I'm going officership, so it'll be a few years.
Yep, If you finish Basic.
He was referring to you also Mr. DEP.

As much as there is that's classified in the MI world (I know all too well thanks to being in the MI world the last year and a half), you'd be surprised how much you can share on an unclassified level. Knowledge of your MOS is OK, but if I were a linguist I wouldn't want people knowing what language, especially if it were a target in the Middle East...

That's interesting. Do you know if the OPSEC standards for MI are the same across the board, or if one branch loosens the "gag order" more than another branch?

Yes it is military intelligence, and my MOS is 35M or human intelligence collector. I basically interrogate people for information. If you got any more questions just ask and I'll answer to my best abilities.

How is just joining the MC a privlige, you have not even done anything, including BCT, you can still be kicked out with out a second thought by your Unit commander, granted, when you pin on the EGA, thats when you can be conceded about the MC.

I know I was just saying I have reached one of my goals, same as him. Now all I have to do is graduate MCRDPI(If I can).

Not to put too fine of a point on this, but you do not interrogate people for information. You just signed up. Don't make it sound like you have already been trained and actually do this for a living now.

Wouldn't interrogation be the job of a 35L as opposed to a 35M? I don't mean to nitpick, but I had thoughts of enlisting in high school and I had a recruiter tell me that Counter Intelligence Agents do much more actual interrogating than HUMINT collectors.
