I might as well re-introduce myself. I'm Lee Ragan and had been on the old Grunts Forum a couple of years (maybe more), and enjoyed reading and conversing with many of you.
I served in the USAF 1966-1970 and was a supply type in SAC. Later served a hitch in the USNR as a Boatswains Mate 3rd Class and finally spent 18 years in Civil Air Patrol retiring in 1995 as a Lt. Col. I've been an insignia collector for over 30 years and in the past have tried to help some of you folks out answering questions about insignia and uniforms.

Say, man. I heard about a crew of soldiers running around some secret base in Iraq (or maybe Afghanistan) wearing insignias with an alien's head on them. You ever heard of such a group?
