Thought this pic and quote were appropriate. Read the quote, and substitute "America" for "Rome." It's as relevant now as it was then....

I think I mentioned the parrallels between Rome and the US for the first time to my family about 5-6 years ago. They looked at me like I was crazy.

Hopefully, in this case, history will not repeat itself.
I happened to be driving around town today and noticed a group of McCain supporters on the side of the road. One sign they were holding read, "Abortion is an 'Obamanation'". I liked that one.

I have yet to see an elected republican stand for the principles stated in that quote, except one of course.

Unfortunately, you couldn't name a handfull of liberal Dems that have ever done it.
