You got me beat then. I don't have moderator privileges in this part of the forum, so I shouldn't have any options you don't, and I see my delete button no problem.

If I'm seeing this right, you can only delete a post if it's still the most current post in a certain thread (e.g. no one's posted after the one you want to delete). When I look at my posts, there is no delete button, but when I check the specific one under the "Rackbuilders" thread, which is the last one in that specific topic, there is a delete button.
Edit: Same with this post. At the current time, I see a "Delete" button (between "Go Advanced" and "Cancel"). I'll have this confirmed the next time someone posts here.

I'm now curious myself. The button is still there on this post, but on others in this case (that aren't the last in the thread), it's not there. I brought this up because this is how it works on another forum I frequent. I figured it would be the same.
Could it be a glitch of some sort?

Another oddity is that my signature graphic appears in post on this thread and not in others.

When did you upload your signature? If you just uploaded it when you started posting in this thread, that's why. Go down to "Additional Options" below the "Submit Reply" button, and make sure the "Show your signature" button is checked. After clicking it once, it should show up and stay checked automatically.
Gentlemen the reason why you can't delete the thread is because you have not be given that permission in this area of the forum.
Please go down to the bottom of this page on the far left you will see forum permissions/posting rules.
You may post new threads
You may post replies
You may post attachments
You may edit your posts
It does not state you can delete a Thread, therefore you don't have that ability.
So no you can't delete the thread.

Odd...
One would think that a "topic" would simply be the same as a single post if no one had replied to it. That's how it is on all the other forums I frequent. If I post a new topic, and no one has replied to it yet, it's treated like a single post, and can be deleted by me (e.g. the originator).
YMMV.

No its a different area of the forum code. Grunt has to give that permission.

I'm a mod on the Cadet Forum, but not in the Military or General Forums. My "Posting Rules" box looks the same in all areas, and my permissions to remove my own posts are the same in all areas. My guesses (and they're out in right field at this point) are that either wukong's account has some sort of glitch, his account settings have something weird on them that prohibit deleting posts (basically a glitch), or I'd be willing to take it a step further and say that being a member of (or in his case, not being a member of) a certain user group presents this issue.
wukong, try joining the AF Public Group and see if that helps any. If nothing else, it throws one of my ideas out as being a bad guess.
