Hello All,

I'm an Army ROTC MSII Cadet out of wayyy upstate New York. I'm currently participating in the SMP program, drilling with a nearby Infantry unit just learning what I can. I've taken a Dedicated Army National Guard scholarship, so anticipate commissioning with the National Guard mid 2011.

Branching Aviation and drilling with a UH-60 unit out of Long Island would be my dream in regards to graduation, however MP also holds interest to me.

Any tips in regards to the ROTC program, SMP program and branching would be greatly appreciated! This is our schools second year sponsoring the ROTC program; we're all new and very small.

Thanks!

Potsdam maybe?

That's pretty far up there and would be my guess.
Seems like you are doing okay, drilling with a Unit give you the feel for the way things should be. I'd rather a New Officer spent time in an ACTIVE DUTY Unit rather than a Guard or Reserve Unit. A whole different metric there.

Good Luck to you!
