So as a start of discussion, and maybe reminiscing a little, what shows, musical, comedy, morale or otherwise, have you seen while deployed on Operations?
While in Afghanistan, I got to see a couple done by our Canadian version of the USO.
Can't remember the name of the show but it featured the likes of:
there was Kenny Shaw, East Coast blues rocker Matt Minglewood, Country singer Diane Chase, a couple of Celtic bands, and one rock band from Toronto.
On another occasion, we saw Julian Austin perform. This isn't the same one, but it's from one of the many times he's performed in Afghanistan:

But my favourite show, would have to be when when the Stanley Cup was brought to Kandahar.
Our Chief of Defence Staff brought with him not only the cup, but also veteran NHLers such as Ron Tugnutt, Dave "Tiger" Williams, and Bob Probert.
Along with them came Terry Kelly, an amazing individual, a Newfoundlander who happens to have been the third blind person in the world to have run the mile in under 5 minutes.
He sang the Canadian and American National Anthems at the ball hockey games between the soldiers and NHLers.
Mr Kelly then also performed a show, where he sang his song "Pittance of Time"

Anyone else have memories of USO shows, concerts, etc they've been to in their travels from home?
