I found a pretty interesting site today called www.politicalcompass.com. Basically, you answer some questions and it'll show you where you stand politically based on how you answered.

My results were:

Economic Left/Right: -4.75
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 0.21

The closest person to my views is Pope Benedict XVI. I guess that works!

You might also try http://ontheissues.org/default.htm

Not only can you see how various candidates stand, you can find yourself. There is a link at the bottom of the page for the test.

There you have it.

I have to object to most of the questions asked...they were posed in a manner that could cause confusion, and were "misleading" questions. Several times during the test, I had to stop and say "WTF"? I don't place too much stock in these "social experiment tests." They're pretty much BS anyway...but still, I posted my results......
