:o

Sorry I'm late for the party, guys.

I'm sure the majority of you remember me, and some of you are probably developing some indigestion merely at the sight of my name. :D

I look forward to seeing how everything works out with this new system.

Ah, but that is an old photograph, 1989-90, can you guarantee they will be match fit and in concert condition?

Look at the bloke on the right! He's more 'hippy' than the girls!

Ah, good call. Actually, I prefer the '05 bunch. But then, it's a matter of preference, considering I graduated that year.

Also, considering I was part of the JROTC color guard that would open for most of the football games from 2001 - 2005, I got to know the bunch pretty well (I'd stay through the game almost every time).

Matching bow tie and waistcoat! It's enough burn a satorialist's eyes!

Almost?

I liked hanging around with the members. Not too fond of the uniforms though.

As to the 'almost,' well, we didn't present colors for the Away games. That was left to the hosting school, and with regards to staying through the game, there were a couple of instances where I needed to get home to get the uniform prepped for a drill competition the following day. High school varsity football games seem to almost always happen on Friday nights, and the drill competitions were always on Saturdays.

You're right, it is an unusual uniform for a marching band.

Apparently Zak Wylde (Ozzy gutiarist) went to that (yours I suppose) school.

I liked hanging around with the members.

Ah, the blonde or the brunette? ;)

It would appear you're right -- he did graduate from JMHS.

As to the blonde or the brunette, well, to be quite honest I knew them both on a friendly level. The blonde is the daughter of a local politician, and the brunette, if I remember correctly is the daughter of a local serviceman. The gentleman in between them both is a friend of mine, and the only one of those 3 who I have even ran into lately.

To be honest, my interests at the time had little to do with band members, unless we include former band members. But hey, that's another story altogether. :D

Ah yes, Starlifter, I quite easily remember you. Surely you remember RougeX72, that's my name from the old forums, and it would have been for here but it wouldn't work. Anyways good hearing from you.
