Well, I guess this is another kick at the can on this site for introductions.

For those of you who don't know me from the previous incarnation, I don't post very much, but I do frequently lurk.

I'm a serving Jr NCO in the Canadian Forces (MOSID 00329, Signals Operator), right now in what we call our Army of the West, or 1 Canadian Mechanized Brigade Group.

I've served 1 tour of duty in Afghanistan to date, and am currently gearing up for my second early in the new year.

I'll endeavor to answer any questions anyone may have about the Canadian Military, and try to add something substantive to the site.

Cheers,

Des

Cheers, mate.

Was away on Ex, and came back to find the new site.

Good to see you made it, Des. I just can't believe, that I now need to have a passport to come and do a bit of fishing in your back yard. These 'bad guys' are causing distrust, everywhere. Stay safe..
Easy Brother,

Roger that, Reddog. It's a pain in the you-know-where these days. Times being what they are, I guess.

Ever get a chance to fish in inland BC, specifically the Okanagan valley? Some beautiful big-mouth.
