I'm putting together a display for my wife's grandpa. He was a cook in WWII, served in the Philippines and the Northern Solomons. I've got his discharge papers, and a box of his old stuff. This ribbon I found in his box has me stumped. Can anyone help me ID it? I can't find it on any ribbon/medal sites.

From his discharge, he rates the Asiatic Pacific Campaign, Philippine Liberation, Good Conduct, Meritorious Unit and WWII Victory. the only ones he doesn't have in his box are Philippine Liberation and Meritorious Unit. I'm wondering if it's an old version of one of those?
