Is it authorized to wear the poly-pros underneath the ACUs? If there's any confusion, the ploy-pros are the brown thermals, or at least that's what I call them.

For those of you who will inevitably comment on my "lack of research" and the horrible mentality I am exhibiting by not answering or trying to answer my own question before I post on these forums, here are the sources I've looked through so far:

1.) http://community.armystudyguide.com/groupee/forums/a/tpc/f/5261056041/m/9471073621

2.) http://www.camo-store.com/Free%20Stuff/How%20to%20Wear%20the%20ACU.htm

3.) http://www.armycounselingonline.com/index2.php?option=com_content&do_pdf=1&id=62

There you have it. Three tries, three strikes, so now I come here. By the way, for any questions that will, in the future, pertain to ACU wear, the current complete AR 670-1 uniform regulation pamphlet on the internet is from 2005, before the ACU was completely phased in during 2007. So don't rely on it too heavily.

I wouldn't see why not. We are issued them for wear with ACUs BY the army after all.

This is not a researched or substantiated claim in any sense, but I have seen soldiers wearing issued poly pros in the new "sand" tan color which matches the ACU undershirt. I believe the brown color polys will eventually phase out like the brown undershirt did.

lol that's the Army for you, issue out as many old uniforms as possible to get rid of them and then phase them out. The amounts of dress greens they were trying to give out during clothing issue phase II at BCT was ridiculous. By the way, with the M65 Field Jacket, can you wear your normal ACU blouse underneath or is it just the M65 and under that the tan shirt?

You wear your ACU blouse underneath whatever external garment you wear. The fleece sweater (my personal preference), Goretex, or the M65 Field Jacket. Simply put, you reach a point that you want to take the jacket off, you've still got to be in full uniform.
