Military Science Degrees?

Is anyone out there knowledgeable about colleges and or universities that have Military Science degrees?

I realize "military science" usually refers to the courses taken while in ROTC, but I've seen some colleges that offer "Military Science" as a minor, and am curious if there are any that offer this as a major (i.e. BS in Military Science, BA in Military Science).

(The ones that list it as a minor don't offer it as a major, and searching via Google doesn't bring up anything other than ROTC information.)

After doing a little research on it, it appears that Norfolk State has a Military Science available as a major.

But it is listed under their history department.

In military education, Military Science is often the name of the department in the education institution that administers officer candidate education. However, this education usually focuses on the officer leadership training and basic information about employment of military theories, concepts, methods and systems, and graduates are not military scientists on completion of studies, but rather junior military officers.

My minor was Military Science. I doubt you will find many schools with Military Science as a major because of the number of course hours you would have to take to get a Military Science major. I took almost every ROTC course to get enough credits for my minor.

I know for a fact that USMA has a Mil Sci major now known as Def & Strategic Studies and it focuses on strategy, history, leadership, etc. For more info on what kind of classes you could except to take in this major in general and at USMA in particular,
