Not even a bugler to pipe (?) me aboard this vessel? Outrage!
Anyway, those who remember me I saw 'well done', but it was less than a week ago and for those that don't, you are either a 'noob'* or need to visit your GP regarding your dementia.
* That's geekspeak for a sprog.

Welcome aboard. One question, Why would anyone pipe an NCO aboard anything larger than a rowboat?

Avast! Scurvy dogs and other such nautical gibberish. You may have won this battle, but you shall not win the war.
What was it about kicking over tall buildings and picking up trains? No it was the other way round... Catching trains in your teeth and kicking bullets off the track?
Award to the man who finds the chaddest version of a joke that dates back to at least to the Second World War (Spike Milligan).

Sorry, I booked the band for a private gig to freshen up the US Army Signal Corps Band. The bugler sends his best wishes though. :p
Welcome back Spider!

Would a Kazzoo and a redneck with a XXX Jug do you for piping you aboard?
Glad you found your way to the new Forum!

Pardon the delay, gentlemen, but there were some NRC firewalls to climb over, dig under, and shoot through before I could get in the yard to play. Thanks to Grunt for the air support, and Spider, here's your band.

Well it's better than nothing.
I've put a video up myself, but it doesn't seem to want to work for me.

It's a pity, 'tis a beautiful solo.

Spider,
Your humor and presence will be missed. Somehow, I get the feeling your superiors have their hand's full! :D Now, if I only knew what DCOS meant?
Easy Brother,
Reddog...
Spider,
Now, if I only knew what DCOS meant?
I'm going to make a guess that it's Deputy Chief of Staff...unless it's Dynamic Coalition of Open standards ;)

Close, it's Domestic Chief of Staff, which of course refers to the long haired sergeant major who might otherwise be known as 'SO3 G1 BJ&STW'.
If you need a translation, well SO3 stands for the Staff Officer Grade Three, which would be a captain. G1 obviously refers to personnel and administration and I'll let you figure out what BJ&STW stands for...

Ah Props, always making up for lack of speed with attempts at wit :D

Well In my youth I played every forward position apart from hooker and have even played on the wing a couple of times (I was Lomu before Lomu!), but I was usually a back row and don't look like your typical amateur prop (short and fat). I am definitely slower than in my heydey, but I am still as strong as I ever was and if I was prepared to play with the other old men (the veterans having heart attacks up and down the touchline!) I would still be more than fast enough to play any of the back three with a preference for eight.
I might join the vets for the 09 season and switch back to lock or flanker because our club doesn't have that many tall blokes who can also jump.
