I happened to be browsing some of your posts and noticed this comment you made:

Maybe you didn't choose your words wisely. But...your fellow brothers in arms are all you have. How could one not get attached to someone he's fighting for his life and country with?

I believe he was referring to recruits as "fellow devil dogs". I wouldn't get "attached" either.
