Hello one and all. My name is Mr. Griff, I am a LET IV and have just recently been promoted to Cadet Major as our new Battalion Commander. Our battalion is in desperate need of change. We have corruption in the leadership (cadets and cadre) and the morale is at its lowest in our long history. I am honored that the Lord would bless me with this opportunity but frankly I am at a loss. I am what you may call a visionary and that is why I have been chosen for this postion so that I may bring fresh ideas and new strandards to the program. I have usually been able to come out on top and pass what I envision into reality and the instructors are relying on that success to continue in order to help the program, but I fear that the cadet leadership has a sub-standard quality and will not commit to the cause of fixing our many problems. This last year I was the battalion's cadet command sergeant major so naturally I am well versed in the regulation and untold rules of what we can and cannot do so my dreams are realistic, unfortunately through that position of power and influence I became witness to the great amount of corruption that is present at my school. This knowledge carries the doubt and fear for my battalion and all i can do is get down on my knees to pray for this school. We are looking at having a two hundred strong unit for this next 2009-2010 school year and I do not want to label 40% as participants as our history has done. Due to the corrupt nature of our past we have lost a significant amount of our good cadet leadership and what we have left is not strong enough. There is great poison here but with the Lord's help we hope to find the antidote. If anyone has any ideas or advice even something you may consider small or insignificant please I welcome any words. Thank-you.

Usually, a person's online personality will reflect their real personality (obviously... unless you're trying to pass as someone else). If your attitude towards your cadets so much as even vaugely resembles the attitude you've got in this thread (http://gruntsmilitary.com/board/showthread.php?p=25422#post25422), you're not doing a thing to help your program. Start by learning to control yourself, first. Fix personal things before you go on to fix much larger ones.

Look now I am simply keepimg it real I opened up enough to let y'all know that there is trounle where i'm at because we need help It's not a matter of controling myself instead just looking for ideas. Maybe I do have a problem with control if this was your judgement I won't call you a lier but that's the first time ive been told this. As I said before I only opened up so much with the truth because we really need help. I have reviewed my post and i don't see what you mean by controling myself. This post was asking for help and if this criticism is your advice I would appreciate it if you would elaborate on your comment and explain so that I might constuctively use this.

I guess you learn something new everyday. He's saying that your personality on this forum thus far is most likely an indicator of your behavior in real life. Also, it's much easier to read someones post when they have proper punctuation.

For the sake of consolidation and simplicity, please see my response to both of your posts in the other thread.
